Our Story
Meet Oliver and Lulu, the pups who inspired the Twin Cities first self serve dog wash...Ollu!
Oliver and Lulu were raised in San Diego, CA, where self-service dog washes were everywhere. There were none to be found in Minnesota, however, so when their dog mom Jodel moved back to her home state she grew tired of wrestling her dogs into the shower. At long last she decided to solve the problem by opening her own self-serve dog wash in Northeast Minneapolis.
Since opening in 2009, Ollu has grown and changed. Beyond self-service washes we began to offer full-service grooming, making Ollu a one-stop shop for keeping pups fresh and clean. Ollu quickly became known for its talented groomers and friendly staff. In 2015 our grooming salon moved up the street to make room for our growing clientele and staff.
In 2019 we welcomed new ownership from Jodel's family friend and fellow dog lover, Beth Lindquist. Greatly committed to Ollu's core values, Beth has continued Ollu's mission to help pet owners maintain happy, healthy dogs.
